When my sister-in-love called me to take anniversary pictures for her and my brother's 10th anniversary, there was no hesitation. We set up a date, drove to downtown Richmond, Virginia and went on a hunt for several locations that were selected beforehand. Fifteen minutes into the session, the skies opened and it poured like it was about to rain for 40 days and 40 nights. So we sat and tried to wait it out. In between rain clouds we would jump out and try to snap a few photos and run back to the car. As time went on the rain would not let up. However, we kept hope alive. My "clients" needed to change clothes. So we stopped at a local hotel and asked if we could use restrooms for changing. They were so accommodating. Well, the hotel was BEAUTIFUL on the inside. While they were changing I scouted out a couple of spots that were secluded enough at the time to take a few shots. So this session went a lot differently than planned but thanks to very willing participants who did not give up, they actually challenged my imagination and helped me develop my eye even further. Here's to more wonderful years for the both of you! (click on a picture to enjoy the full shot) Location: Downtown Richmond Virginia and the Hilton Hotel Lobby
